EACH YEAR SINCE 1976, The BANFF Mountain Film Festival collects and juries hundreds of films from around the world centered on mountain adventure, sports and culture for its annual festival in Alberta, Canada. Each year, the following spring, they broadcast the festival right back to big screens around the globe on a ‘World Tour.’ The Roxy Theatre is on the list March 8-9. Separate programs for each night encompassing stories of a ski expedition above the arctic circle, to a little known flying sport called paramotoring in the desert of American Southwest, to a Range Rider who patrols the buffer between wolves and ranchers in Washington State and many more. // JAMES MUNK
