DEAR DTEO: IS IT TRUE THAT OBJECTS CAN CARRY ENERGIES? (PART II) The majority of you have certainly heard of haunted objects – often called demonic or possessed. I like to call them infused. Energy gets stuck and can create manifestations or poltergeist-like activities, aka attitudes, with objects. These are all the dark, Hollywood, scary stories that keep people hooked on adrenaline. I prefer GOOD stories about infused objects. This is the story of my recent purchase of a dragon bell and some of its “unique” properties.
I turned 42 in October and my beautiful wife took me to the Washington coast for a lovely getaway. While on a lunch outing in Ocean Shores, we decided to stop at a second hand treasure store Nate’s Vintage. It’s small and cram-packed full from floor to ceiling with memorabilia, clothing, religious items, and other items from the past. I walked in and right away saw the brass shape of a Chinese dragon holding a bell from its mouth. It also came with a small brass mallet that nestled into a holder fashioned onto the back of the dragon. It was sitting on a shelf with a few different types of Buddha statues positioned as though it was an altar. Because of its positioning, I wasn’t sure if it was for sale. so I acknowledged the pull (who doesn’t love dragons and bells?) and continued to meander around the shop. Neither my wife nor I saw anything that really called out to us. We ended up walking out the door. I passed the threshold and I could feel, almost hear, a whimper from the bell.
I told my wife that I’d be right back and did a 180 back into the shop.
I asked the gentleman if the bell was for sale and how much it was. To my luck it WAS for sale and pretty affordable. It got packed up and walked out the door with me. I even brought the dragon bell back into the hotel room, when it could have easily stayed in the car for the duration of our trip. It wasn’t until we got home that some of its peculiar features made themselves known. Of course the first thing I did when we got home was ring the bell. Itwas crisp and clear and worked fabulously as an energy cleanser. I decided right away it would live on my desk and be a part of a routine when I sat down at my computer in the mornings.
A couple of days passed and the veils became thin because of Halloween. One morning I noticed the bell had a glow about it. A pale blue/white light. It felt comforting and I simply observed it for the day. That night, my wife and I were in bed, reading, relaxing, surfing the internet – like you do. I felt a presence near our bedroom door. Tigue (our cat) was at my feet. I looked down toward the bottom of the door and I saw a little Chinese dragon, similar in shape as the brass bell but smaller, poking its head inside the door. It had a hesitant, pleading feeling to it. Like it wanted to come in. So I told it (in my head – like you do as a psychic) to come in. It was the CUTEST thing ever. It scurried in and scampered up onto the bed and curled up into a spiral/circle on the other side of my feet, opposite Tigue. I watched it for a bit. It radiated happiness. I told my wife what happened and asked if she was okay with it. She was. I asked if she could sense it. She is quite intuitive and empathic. She could not. Every evening it’s been the same. Its little head pokes around our bedroom door, asking permission. It’s always granted and it curls up in the same manor in the same spot.
I have noticed that Tigue doesn’t sit in the spot anymore. Do I know where the dragon came from? Nope. Do I know how it got in the bell? Nope. All I know is that it is happy and so am I. I do get the feeling that it will grow bigger and I’m not sure how all that works. In the meantime I continue observing and feel the contentment.
